72010 Hengist Steam Locomotive Project
Hadron Engineering has contributed to a very exciting project aimed at restoring an original locomotive using modern techniques.
Precision engineered by CTL Seal in Sheffield, who are re-building a British Railways Standard ‘Clan’ Class Steam locomotive using 21st century engineering. The aim is to re-create the original engine, but make significant improvements to it’s overall performance. The new locomotive will be:
