As a continuation of our basic range of blowers and blower packages, we are also able to supply products for various specialised applications. These blowers and packages can be produced to specific customer specifications, and vary from the standard product with the use of different materials or set design. Some of these specialised options include:

For the transport of aggressive media, special basic elements with coating or parts made of stainless steel can be chosen. Cases also have the option of being made from austenitic ductile cast iron or grey iron (Ni-resist).
Nuclear Industry
This relates to gas-tight design of blowers made of austenitic steel material, and incorporated and operated in hydrogen combustion systems and radiation inspection systems, in all indoor and outdoor areas of nuclear power plants. The required volume of the medium ranges from 30 to 250 m3/h, with operating pressures from 70 kPa abs. to 150 kPa abs., i.e. 700 mbar abs. to 1.5 bar abs.
The blowers and blower units of special design are matched to the client's requirements on the use and arrangement intended. The systems are assembled from both standardised and special (tailored to customer specific needs) blowers and groups. Systems with higher overpressure and higher volume of medium to be forwarded (i.e. above 8 000 m3/h), or systems of deep vacuum use the tandem-type arrangement of blowers.
Evacuation of vapours and gases
Gas tight blowers and blower packages are intended to be used in applications where there is an increased risk of explosion, either in the conveyed gas or in the units general environment. These units are manufactured to meet the 94/9/EC (ATEX) European guidelines, and include some of the following applications :
A closed nitrogen-filled loop used as a protective element when filling pressure gas bottles with oxygen.
Closed loop filled with helium and used in the production of new generation solid-state (semiconductor) components (operating pressure up to 20 Pa).
Pumping and pressurization of steam in special cleaning lines.
Closed circuit filled with nitrogen and used in the production of chemicals.
Transport of explosion-prone gases (methane, bio gas, natural gas, hydrogen).
Tandem Blower Packages
If pressures or air volumes are required that are over the stated figures that are capable from a single blower, then tandem units can be used. These units incorporate two blowers on a single framework, and can be linked so that air is discharged into a common manifold, thus achieving the required overpressure or over volume of air required. These units can be tailored to suit the requirements of the intended application / customer needs.
