Hadron blowers and blower packages are used in a wide variety of industries varying from waste water treatment plants, through to use in the food industry for pneumatic conveying of powdered / granular products.

Packages also vary greatly depending on the particular application the units are being used for, with air volumes ranging from 7 - 10000m3/h and air pressures capable of reaching 2 bar with the use of our tandem blowing units.

Here are just a few examples of the many applications in which our blowers and packages are used.

Waste Water Treatment

Usage here can vary greatly, from small waste water treatment plants (WWTP's), serving just 2 - 5 population equivalents, up to much larger sites which treat the waste from cities with many thousand population equivalents.

The blowers are mainly used for the supply of pressurised air for the aeration systems, where it is used to treat the water entering the plants. Other applications on these sites also include units which can be set up for the backwash of system filters, or in the case of drinking water plants, the backwash of sand filters.

These units range in air volumes and encompass the full product range from 7 - 10000m3/h, with typical pressures from 250 - 800mbar. 

The main applications for aeration or agitating liquids include :

• Water and waste treatment.
• Fish transportation.
• Fish farming.
• Asphalt refining.
• Oyster washing
• Chemical processing. 

Pneumatic Bulk Material Transportation

In these applications both overpressure and underpressure blowers are used. Consequently, the difference in operating pressures moves within the range of 500 mbar abs. to 2 bar abs. The volume of air required generally attains a value of 50 to 10,000 m3/h.

The scope of application ranges vastly and includes some of the following uses :

• The transport of fly ash or the transport of crushed limestone, used in the boilers of power plants (desulphurization).
• The transportation of cement, flour, animal feed and other powdered, loose or granular materials. In industries ranging from food, building, chemical and agriculture etc.
• The unloading of bulk material from ships etc.

Special Applications

Continuation of the basic range are special type blowers that differ e.g. in the material of basic parts and elements, the design of the packing, mode of connection, the air flow direction etc. For the transport of aggressive media special basic elements with coating or made of stainless steel can be chosen, or cases made of austenitic ductile cast iron or grey iron (Ni-resist).

Vehicle Blowers

These blowers are mounted on lorries or trailers and used for pneumatic transport of granules, powders, meal and pollard etc. Mostly used in the agriculture, building and food industries, the required output capacity usually is within the range of 500-800 m3/h, and the operating pressure difference of up to 800 mbar.
